The Bioreactor Exhaust Cap allows for the efficient ventilation of CO2 in bioreactors ensuring exhaust filters will not clog ever again. This device works as a trap allowing the condensed fluid to pool in a flask so that it never touches the exhaust filter. The Bioreactor Exhaust Cap has been shown to vent CO2 more efficiently than traditional exhaust filters, which means less base is needed to balance the pH. Less base additions mean the ideal osmolarity is maintained longer and less salt formation. This makes it possible to extend the culture growth for a few extra days, increasing viability and producing more product.
